Why We Use Flexographic Printing?

Flexographic printing is a modern version of the letterpress that allows us to print on virtually any substrate. The multitude of effects, high-speed printing, and ability to produce large volumes of labels is what makes flexographic label printing a highly viable alternative to other forms of printing. Flexographic printing is also capable of several intricate and precise applications that include but are not limited to:

What are Pressure Sensitive Labels?

Pressure sensitive labels are self-adhesive and can be applied by adding a little pressure, without the need for activation or heat, which makes them ideal for a wide range of applications. The labels come with release liners that protect the adhesive surface and assist label handling. Pressure sensitive labels are usually produced on rolls and are either hand- or machine-applied to finished products.

When Can You Use Pressure Sensitive Labels?

Permanent application

For permanent applications, the pressure sensitive labels come with high-grade adhesion-values, and therefore, can support up to one kilogram of weight per square centimeter of the contact area. They have a wide range of applications and are ideal for safety labels of air-filtration ductwork, power equipment, and sound damping films.

Removable application

Designed to meet temporary bonding needs, removable pressure sensitive labels do not leave any adhesive residue on the surface, after removal. These labels are used in masking tapes, note papers, bookmarks, promotional graphics materials, skin contacts, and much more.
